Sportsnet's digital strategy was to capture fans' attention before, during, and after a live game. Pre-game, there were game alert notifications, stats, and schedules. Live streaming is available for paid subscribers during the game, and live game trackers update in real-time for non-subscribers. With the Live Tracker, Sportsnet allows sports fans to follow a live game away from home or use it as a second screen while watching a live broadcast on their TV. The Live Tracker tracks real-time in-game events for MLB, NHL and NBA. Boxscores and video highlights update as they happen.
Sportsnet on Apple Watch gives fans a glanceable snapshot of in-game progress and alerts to ensure they are aware of game start times and final scores.
